CROSS HOLLOW HILLS

ABOUT US

The Cross Hollow Hills Community is a subdivision located in Iron County Utah, southwest of Cedar City in the hills above Westview Drive. The original plat was recorded in 1990 and the first lots were sold in 1992, with a few homes being built shortly thereafter. Lot sizes range from 2 to 5 acres and are wooded with native Pinion Pines and Junipers (aka Cedars). The area was developed in two phases, and currently consists of 156 lots with approximately 140 homes. The lots are zoned residential and are governed by CC&R’s.

Homeowners range from retired couples to families with small children. It is a quiet and friendly neighborhood, and is noted to be equine friendly as well. On any given morning you might see folks walking their dogs or riding their horses. Some leave out a water dish for passing dogs on a walk with their owners. We wave to each other when driving or walking. It should be noted that the speed limit within the community is 25 mph. And we host an annual halloween trunk or treat activity for the local children of all ages.

The Cross Hollow Community Association now obtains its water through the Central Iron County Water Conservancy District. There are two tanks providing water for all homes in the subdivision. The 5 member Board of Directors is charged with abiding by the ByLaws and ensuring that owners follow the CC&R’s. There is an Architectural Control Committee which works with the homeowners to review plans for construction of any structure to ensure compliance with the CC&R’s and the Architectural Control Policy.
